As i started become interested in living a more natural life, I began researching different herbs and their uses. I mean, if I could use an herb to treat certain problems in a natural way, why not do it? Now, I have a pretty good stash of herbs on hand at all times so that I can treat minor health issues naturally for everybody in my house.

 Many herbs have multiple uses, making them a good investment since you can use one herb for various different physical complaints. Today, I’m going to share with you five healing herbs that can be utilized for just a  anyailment.

1.turmeric powder.

Turmeric is the spice that gives curry its yellow color.

  It has been used in India for thousands of years as a spice and medicinal herb.

  Recently, science has started to back up what Indians have known for a long time - it really does contain compounds with medicinal properties (1Trusted Source).

  These compounds are called curcuminoids, the most important of which is curcumin.

2.gokshura.


Gokshura (Tribulus terrestris) is an Ayurvedic herb most commonly known for its immunity boosting, aphrodisiac and rejuvenation properties.

Gokhshura when taken along with Ashwagandha helps enhance stamina due to which it is beneficial for body building as well as improving the performance of athletes. 

 According to Ayurveda, Gokshura is known to balance tridosha.  It is also used to manage urinary disorders due to its Mutral (diuretic) property.
 

3.ashwagandha.


The word Ashwagandha is derived from the Sanskrit words Ashwa (horse) and Gandha (smell).  This is because its roots smell like the sweat of a horse.

   Ashwagandha helps to deal with stress, anxiety and diabetes due to the balancing properties of Rasayana (rejuvenating) and Vata. 

                 When taken with milk, Ashwagandha helps  root powder to control male infertility and erectile dysfunction.  This is due to the aphrodisiac property.
 
4.garlic.


Garlic has been used all over the world for thousands of years.  Records indicate that garlic was in use when the Giza pyramids were built, about 5,000 years ago.

         Garlic is  widely used in a variety of conditions related to the blood system and heart, including atherosclerosis (venous sclerosis), high cholesterol, heart attack, heart disease, and high blood pressure.

5.ginger.


People typically use ginger or dried ginger in the kitchen, and some take ginger supplements because they may have health benefits.

  Ginger's antioxidants and other nutrients help prevent or treat arthritis, inflammation, and various types of infections. 

  Researchers are also investigating the potential to reduce the risk of diabetes, cancer, and other health problems.
